At Guirard Kitchens, we aim to ensure your kitchen products are delivered safely and efficiently. This Delivery Policy explains how deliveries are arranged for kitchen cabinets, countertops, and related products supplied by us.
Delivery Service
Guirard Kitchens provides free delivery on all kitchen orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We manufacture, paint, and supply kitchen cabinets, countertops, and layouts only. We do not provide installation services.
Delivery Areas
We deliver to all mainland UK addresses. We do not deliver to offshore addresses.
- All areas of Scotland are subject to delivery charges, calculated at checkout.
- Free delivery applies to orders over £500.00 net (excluding VAT).
- Orders under £500.00 net are subject to a delivery charge of £49.99 + VAT.
- Additional charges may apply to Scottish addresses once the delivery postcode is entered.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times will be provided at the time of order confirmation.
Delivery dates are estimates only and may vary depending on:
* Product availability
* Manufacturing schedules
* Custom finishes or bespoke orders
* Transport conditions
* Weather or unforeseen circumstances
We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of any delays.
Access Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring:
* Safe and reasonable access to the delivery location
* Adequate space for unloading and storage
* Someone is available to receive and inspect the delivery
If delivery cannot be completed due to restricted access or no one being available, additional delivery charges may apply for re-delivery.
Inspection Upon Delivery
Customers must inspect all items upon delivery.
Any visible damage, shortages, or incorrect items should be reported within 48 hours of delivery by email or telephone.
We recommend customers do not arrange installation or third-party trades until all products have been checked.
Risk and Responsibility
Responsibility for products passes to the customer once delivery has been completed.
Customers are responsible for storing products in a dry, secure, and suitable environment prior to installation.
Failed or Missed Deliveries
If delivery is missed or refused without prior agreement, Guirard Kitchens reserves the right to charge reasonable additional delivery or storage costs.
Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including:
* Severe weather
* Traffic disruptions
* Vehicle breakdowns
* Supply chain interruptions
* Industrial disputes
* Government restrictions
